Pete is an alumni of Bishop Moore High School, and the University of Florida. After returning from college, Pete founded Give Hope Foundation with the help of several close friends and family members. Today, he continues to volunteer as the President of Give Hope Foundation. He is also an entrepreneur. He and his wife Jen have three daughters, Gianna, Mia, and Siena. Pete founded Give Hope Foundation to change the relationship between a donor and a non-profit to one in which the donor is not called on to pay any portion of the overhead expenses of the organization - a commitment that Give Hope maintains today. Pete’s favorite thing about Give Hope Foundation is seeing the impact we make on families who truly need us in very tough times.
Jen went to undergrad and graduate school at University of Florida. She has been volunteering with Give Hope Foundation since 2007. Jen opened up her own real estate brokerage, Centi Realty and spends her free time with her family, especially her three young daughters. Jen also likes volunteering at Camp Boggy Creek, a beneficiary of Give Hope Foundation.
Mark is the Vice President of Operations at ProHealth Medical. He has been a part of Give Hope Foundation since its inaugural year. Mark’s favorite Give Hope moment was the very first year at the Gala and sitting back and seeing what a group of people with big hearts can accomplish to make a difference.
Owner of Frey Masterson Investment Advisors. Colby graduated from Florida State University Law School and lives in St Petersburg with his wife Andrea and two children. He joined Give Hope Foundation in 2008 and has been Treasurer since 2010. Colby says “I feel so connected to Give Hole because we are able to make an immediate impact to families in need in our community”
Andrea manages HSNi Cares, the philanthropic arm of HSNi. She has been involved in the Give Hope Foundation since 2010 when The organization’s founder Pete Piacenti invited Andrea and her husband, Colby, to get involved. Give Hope Foundation is a special organization because of the ability of the group to act quickly to the needs of a family facing cancer in ways that large, national organizations are not always able to do.
Kathryn has been involved with Give Hope Foundation since 2012, joining the board in 2014. She is an Orlando native and attended the University of Central Florida where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Currently, Kathryn is pursuing her Master’s degree in Non Profit Management. Kathryn is currently employed at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach Foundation as a Development Coordinator. She has been passionate about her goals of Give Hope Foundation since losing her grandfather to cancer, and has dedicated a considerable amount of time to assist those in similar situations.
Dimitri is the owner of BrandCoders, a website design, development, and marketing company based in Orlando, Florida. He has been with Give Hope Foundation since its inception and has served mostly behind the scenes, keeping the website updated and helping with the marketing for events. He is passionate about Give Hope Foundation because he belives strongly in the cause and its focus on the local Central Florida community.
Dimitri is proud to have witnessed the growth and success of Give Hope Foundation, and feels honored to work with such a great group of busy people who volunteer their time and efforts without compensation so that the maximum amount of donations collected go directly to families in need within our local community.
John is an owner of a wide range of businesses. He is an accomplished Entrepreneur, pharmacy and healthcare Executive and pharmacist. His latest venture is a supplement liquid line. John has been with Give Hope Foundation since its beginning and has been actively involved the past four years. His favorite memory was dropping off a Frozen outfit for this beautiful 12 year old girl and seeing how happy she was and how she lit up just so she could dress up like Elsa was amazing. It was beautiful seeing how something so simple could make her so happy and carefree.
David is an orthodontist in the Orlando area. Pete, Mark and David grew up together so he has a close connection to the Foundation. David was in school when Give Hope began but he has been involved since its inception. David’s favorite thing about Give Hope is not only helping all of the kids everyday that desperately need it but being able to do it with friends, family and our community.
Matt is a professional singer-songwriter in the Orlando area, featured weekly at The House of Blues and Disney Springs in Orlando. Working with a number of the charitable organizations in the central Florida area, including the Coalition for the Homeless, Pathways, Give Hope and New Hope for Kids, Matt has a heart for those in need. Being a dedicated father and little league coach, Matt is particularly drawn to kids in need.
Matt's been a part of Give Hope since 2009, working with the directors to promote the events and playing the events each year. When Matt was first introduced to Give Hope he was immediately taken by the passion, dedication and generosity of the organization and knew he wanted to be involved.
Often found using his public platform to laud Give Hope's endeavors and commitment to giving the maximum dollars raised to those in need, Matt inquired about taking a more active role in the organization and was honored to be appointed to the Board. Matt looks forward to furthering the promise of Give Hope and working with like minded people in the passionate pursuit of a truly incredible mission.
J.L. Is a financial advisor in Winter Park. He went to school with many of the board members including Give Hope Foundation founder Pete Piacenti. J.L. ‘s favorite aspect of Give Hope is the commitment and passion of all our members to help the children and families that are affected by pediatric cancer in Central Florida area.
Megan moved to the Orlando area to pursue her electrical engineering degree at UCF while dancing for the Orlando Magic Team. Ten years later, she has emerged as one of Orlando’s go-to emcees /hosts for both live and taped events. In 2014, Megan was approached by Pete Piacenti about being involved with the Give Hope Foundation knowing her previous involvement with charities devoted to children facing life threatening diseases. When the Give Hope Gala host fell ill, Megan jumped in as the co-host with Pete. She has been involved ever since.
Kristen is an Assistant Athletic Director at Orangewood Christian School in Maitland. She has also planned and executed events for the past eight years with Blush by Brandee Gaar. She became involved with Give Hope Foundation in 2012 after meeting Pete and his wife Jen and learning more about the organization. Originally a volunteer helping with the annual Gala, she has become more involved and currently is a board member. Helping fulfill the needs of these kids and their families during their most trying times is what she loves most about Give Hope Foundation.
Scott is a Global Account Executive for a local tech company called Highwinds. Scott became involved in Give Hope after becoming neighbors with Pete and Jenn. Both he and his wife Kristen had recently experienced first-hand the loss of a loved one to cancer and were looking for a way to help make a difference. Scott's favorite memory of Give Hope was the first Gala that he attended years ago. The event exceeded his expectations and was the culmination of many hours of work over a number of months leading up to it. It was genuinely fun and it was clear that the organization is capable of doing great things in this community.
Colleen is Give Hope Foundation's Director of Development. Colleen was introduced to the Give Hope Foundation in July 2013, when her son Ethan was a Give Hope Hero and Apple a Day recipient. Colleen, her husband JP and their teens Kirsten, Ethan and Chloe have attended the Give Hope and Hold 'Em Gala the last two years. She joined Give Hope Foundation team in December 2015 and is excited on helping other families fighting childhood cancer and working with the Give Hope Foundation Board.
